About PDFGuild

Last updated: 13 October 2026

PDFGuild is a set of 20 free PDF tools that work inside your own browser, so your files are never uploaded. Vemulapalli Rajkumar runs it from India. Below: why it exists, how it is paid for, and where you can check each promise yourself.

Why we built it

Most online PDF tools upload your files to their servers and limit how big they can be. We wanted a tool that keeps documents private and still handles big files, so everything happens on your own device.

Many of the papers people turn into PDFs carry a lot of personal detail: an Aadhaar or PAN card copy, a bank statement, a salary slip, a marksheet, a signed form. They carry names, ID numbers, addresses and signatures. When a tool uploads a file like that, a copy of it now sits on a stranger's server, and you cannot see how long it stays there or who can open it.

With PDFGuild there is no copy to worry about, because there is no upload step. Your browser opens the file, the tool changes it on your phone or computer, and you save the result. We never receive your file, so we cannot read it, keep it or pass it on. It stays free for the same reason: your own device does the work, so we don't need big servers to process anyone's files.

We built it for people who do their paperwork on a phone: students sending exam forms, people applying for jobs, families filling in KYC and loan papers. Many of those forms refuse a PDF over 100 KB or 200 KB, so getting a file under a limit is a big part of what the site does.

Everyday jobs, and the tool for each

What we are trying to do

Our aim is simple: anyone, on any phone or computer, should be able to do an everyday PDF job without handing the document to a stranger and without paying for it. Three habits follow from that, and each one is something you can check:

Who runs PDFGuild

Vemulapalli Rajkumar runs PDFGuild from India. The site has been online since October 2026.

It is run by one person. Every tool is tested before it goes live by our own agentic testing workflow, and an independent QA check of the live tools ran on 8 October 2026. Every test result on the tool pages, such as a file size, a time or the memory used, comes from our own tests; a few numbers are worked out from a measured one, and the page says so. How we test lists the files and the checks.

You can write to us at info@pdfguild.com with a question, an idea or a file that didn't work. Tell us the tool, your browser, the file size and what happened. Please attach a file only if you are happy to share what is in it: PDFGuild never needs your files to work. If you think you have found a security problem, here is how to report it.

Our name

PDFGuild was called NoUploadPDF until October 2026. We changed the name because other sites used names close to the old one, and it was easy to land on the wrong site.

Our only address is pdfguild.com, and what is written on these pages is about pdfguild.com only. If you are ever unsure where you are, look at the address bar.

What we promise, and where to check

A promise is only worth something if you can test it. Each line below says what we promise and sends you to the page where you can check it.

Who gets what when you use a tool

Three things are involved when you use a tool: your file, this website and Google's ad code. This is what happens with each.

Who or whatWhat happens
Your PDF fileIt stays on your device. Your browser reads it, the tool changes it there, and you save the result. We never receive it, and our code never gives it to the ad code.
This websiteIt sends you the page and the tool, and receives the star ratings you choose to send: only the tool's name, the number of stars and the time are kept. Its server may keep short technical records of page requests, such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type, only to keep the site secure and working. They never include your files.
Google's ad codeIt runs on every page except the privacy policy and the error page. It is Google's code, not ours. It sends Google information such as the page address, your IP address and browser details, and Google may use cookies to show and measure ads.

The full wording is in the privacy policy, which loads no ad code at all.

PDFGuild is free. There is no sign-up, no paid plan and nothing to buy, we put no watermark of our own on your files, and there is no limit on how many files you can use. To pay for the web address and the server, and to build new tools, our pages load Google AdSense's ad code to show ads.

The ad code is Google's, not ours. It runs in your browser like the ads on any website. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent through Google's own message before Google uses cookies or personal data for personalised ads. Our code never gives your files to the ad code. We don't ask for personal details such as your name or email address, and we don't sell personal data. The privacy policy also explains how to opt out of personalised ads.

What we haven't done, and can't promise

Trust is easier when a site says where its limits are. Ours:

How it works

Each tool is a small program that works on your file inside your own browser and saves the result like any download. The site only sends you the tool; your file stays where it is.

When you open a tool, your browser downloads only what that tool needs, engine included. Google's ad code, which pays for the site, comes on top. Your browser can keep the engine and scripts for next time, so a later visit downloads less.

The engines are our own code, written in Rust and run as WebAssembly, built on open-source Rust code by other people under licences that allow it (the list, with their licences).

You don't have to take our word that your files stay on your device: how we prove it shows two checks anyone can do. Step by step, with a picture: how our tools work.

What's next

More PDF tools are on the way, built the same private way. Small changes keep coming too: some of the wording in the tools was changed after an outside check found it unclear.
